Conversation between me and my friend D yesterday:
"Ehm…Im exhausted! Just done my fourth twelve hour day! I got  a horrible cold and have spent the other day on the phone to get a Rebecca Minkoff men's bag, brocade Phillip Lim trousers for fashion week. Oh and Im moving to Brooklyn tomorrow."
" Oh I got a new LOVE that I need need NEED in my life asap! The new rockstudded booties from Valentino Prefall, I called my friend T who works for Valentino in Milano yesterday and I am now on the waitlist…"

Other then Valentino rock studded boots, I have a tendency to get a crush on fashion after it has been around for a while and I have seen the hits and flops and right now I am obsessed with the full-length silk skirts from Lanvin ss11. There will always be the full length red asymmetric dress (also known as the first time the world noticed Karlie Kloss). But as the occasional sort of spring (ish) inspired day is reminding us in New York that there is funnier/better/warmer/tanner times yet to come and as these days are approaching I keep dreaming about the Brazilian holiday I just booked and being in a colorful fun outfit (without having to cover it up with a massive Canada Goose parka. So for now…a snowy January night I am indoors in cashmere scanning the outlets online stores for my dream skirt, eating american pancakes (CAN LITERALLY N-O-T GET ENOUGH OF CARBS WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE!!!) 

...and counting days until it has hopefully started warming up again...

The Ace night

So its officially 2012 in New York...

I welcomed the new year with a group of newly returned friends at the Ace...fun times... way too much bubbly (which is showing off today...)

As always I had a craycray complicated time to decide what to wear....

Ended up in a Phillip Lim fringe dress, Jbrand jeans, YSL shoes and Chanel bag (as Im about to leave it hits me that I kind of wore exactly the same shoes and jeans last year...as I was running late I promised myself to spend the morning after hang over in bed looking doing online shopping...et voila je suis la!!)

Hopes

My friend told me yesterday that she prefers her resolution to be with a positive approach rather than the traditional negative for next year I will stop...instead look at them as for next year I will try to get better on. I like that. 

I am not a resolution for new years only person. I rather make up my resolutions as the year go by.

I have hopes for 2012 (besides THE list of essays that needs to score A+s on...imaginary saving accounts which is needed to be open and shoes that I need in my life...I want to)

- Stay in New York for as long as possible and see new places in the states...(before I leave here in September (hopefully) I want to have at least been in LA and Miami...I just saw the Bergdorf Goodman cruise catalog...I love the model Bambi from Australia. She looks just stunning in this shoot and makes me want to go on holiday...LIKE NOW!)

 Other hopes for 2012...

- Get a job that actually pays

- Hopefully find a man who lives in the same country as me for more then a month (I SURE have a way of picking them...)
